Quakes hit Hindu Kush region, tremors felt in J&K
Tremors were felt in parts of Jammu and Kashmir as two earthquakes occurred in Afghanistan’s Hindukush region on Monday. The quakes were of a medium intensity measuring 5.4 and 5.9 on the Richter scale, taking place in a gap of 27 minutes.
No damages or deaths have been reported.
