CSCMP inaugurated 3rd academic roundtable in India at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai
Roundtable event to share dialogues, knowledge, and insights
Great Lakes Institute of Management in association with the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) inaugurated the 3rd academic roundtable here at the Great Lakes Campus in Chennai. It will be the third academic roundtable in India after XLRI Jamshedpur and SP Jain Mumbai. The aim of the roundtable is to tap highly qualified academicians and supply chain professionals who will further assist in organizing conclaves, workshops, guest lecturers to increase Supply chain career awareness and also bring to light professional opportunities in Supply chain domain.
The roundtable formation was inaugurated by Mr. Neil Basu, Executive Director CSCMP (Asia Pacific). Speaking on the occasion Prof T. N. Badri, Great Lakes Institute of Management said “Great Lakes Institute of Management partnered with CSCMP for this roundtable to provide extensive exposure to our students and faculty on Supply Chain Management.” Mr. Basu introduced the participants to CSCMP and its future plans on developing professionals in Supply Chain profession in India.
Speaking on the occasion he said “CSCMP roundtables enable dialogue, knowledge, and insights at the local level. Roundtables offer a wide variety of educational programs and networking opportunities structured to facilitate communication among all represented supply chain segments. This, in turn, encourages collaboration, and ultimately forms an unbreakable connection among participants, the organization, and the industry.”
