Karur Vysya Bank inaugurated its 455th Branch and 914th ATM at Hyderabad – Banjara Hills today. The branch is located at Plot No. 52, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills. This is the 97th branch of the bank in Andhra Pradesh and the 26th one in Hyderabad.
The branch was inaugurated by Smt. Sahilaja Ramaiyer, IAS, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, A P Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. Smt. Badiga Premalatha lighted the Gayathri Lamp while the ATM was inaugurated by Dr. V. Himabindu, Director, Femina Women’s Hospital.
The branch provides entire range of banking services. Retail and corporate deposits and loans will be available through the branch. The branch has also been provided with locker facility.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. K. Venkataraman, Managing Director and CEO informed that “the bank is targeting total business of Rs. 72000 crore for the current fiscal. The present business level is at Rs. 58000 cr. The bank aims for a total business level of Rs. 125000 crore by 2016, when the bank will be celebrating its centenary. The bank will be adding nearly 100 branches during the current year with about 23 branches in Andhra Pradesh.”
