Hanu Reddy to host  Mango Tourism

The 1st edition of The Great  Mango Festival 2019

Hanu Reddy Mango Tourism is organising “ The Great Mango Festival 2019” on the 9th, 16th, and 23rd of June 2019 (3 consecutive Sundays) from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm.  Hanu Reddy Raghava Farms are located  at Othivakkam, on the outskirts of Chennai.

The Great Mango Festival which is unique is a celebration of mangoes, the glorious and delicious King of Fruits. Indulge in a memorable mango morning, meet the community and experience life on a farm.  As you walk through the farm, you will be able to see the finest mangoes naturally ripened on the trees. See sustainability in action as you sit down for breakfast at one of the longest tables in the world (a whopping 156ft), built from trees felled by Cyclone Vardah.

Nirupama Reddy, Co-Founder, says  “Our aim is to provide exposure to local varieties of mangoes, and at the same time enrich our visitors with a farm experience at Hanu Reddy Raghava Farms. The family-friendly fun begins the moment you enter the farm with a host of activities including bullock cart rides, traditional games by Kreeda, ploughing, a nature walk by Story Trails, pottery, tree-hugging etc. There will be variety of homemade and organic Mango related products for sale. This is our contribution to eco-tourism, celebrating nature and understanding the importance of organic farming practices”.
