Max Life Insurance appoints Manu Lavanya as Director and Chief Operations Officer
Max Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (“Max Life”/” Company”), announced the appointment of Manu Lavanya as the Director & Chief Operations Officer. In his new role, Manu will lead the ‘Fulfillment group’ that comprises ‘Operations, Information Technology, Underwriting & Claims, Digital Transformation and Quality, Innovation & Service Excellence’. Manu will play an instrumental role in enhancing the operations value chain, leading the digital transformation agenda and strengthening the quality culture thereby helping craft superior customer experiences
Based at Max Life’s corporate office in Gurugram, Manu will be reporting to Prashant Tripathy, Managing Director & CEO, Max Life.
Manu brings with him over two decades of valuable experience in successfully creating, transforming and scaling businesses across multiple industry verticals. His experience of driving digital transformation across diverse businesses and geographies will play an important role in building Max Life as a digital first insurance company in India. His diverse experience of managing global customers and teams across US, Latin America, Europe and India will help strengthen the culture of “Caring” and “Customer obsession” at Max Life.

Before joining Max Life, Manu worked with Incedo as the Global Chief Operating Officer. Prior to Incedo, he was the Managing Director for Brillio Technologies, a global digital services start-up that he helped create and scale. His career also boasts of long stints with Cognizant and ITC in multiple leadership roles across manufacturing and Information Technology industries. Manu is an ISB graduate and holds a bachelor’s degree in Technology from IIT Kanpur.
