E&ICT Academy IIT Roorkee Launches Online Faculty Development Programs on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence-AI, Machine Learning-ML, Deep Learning-DL, and Data Sciences with CloudxLab as Industry Partner

Roorkee, 23rd August 2019: E&ICT Academy IIT Roorkee inked an MoU with CloudXLab for launching a series of online instructor-led/self-paced courses on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Data Sciences. The courses are available at an affordable price point and offer a balanced mix of lecture and hands-on sessions. The courses consist of studio-recorded lectures from industry/academic experts, hands-on projects, assignments, automated assessments etc. The content of these courses has been curated by industry experts and subject matter experts from leading companies and prestigious institutions including IIT Roorkee.

These courses start from the beginner level and take learners to advanced levels of Big Data, AI, ML, DL, etc. Unlike the current crop of theoretical courses available in the market, these courses give greater emphasis to a lot of hands-on exercises and projects to work on.

The E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee has now introduced the 2nd course of the series on Data Engineering with Hadoop and Spark in association with CloudxLab. This course is aimed at upskilling faculty and professionals across the country on one of the most trending technologies in the market. On successful completion of the course, participants will get a certificate issued by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee. Completion of this course prepares the learner to be a Data Engineer, Big Data Developer, Spark Developer, Hadoop Developer, etc. The average salary package for professionals in this domain is around Rs. 20 lakhs in the current market.
