Election commission begins special electoral roll (SIR) verification
The Election Commission has launched its Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka and several other states to update electoral rolls.
As part of the campaign, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will visit households to verify voter information.
If residents are unavailable during the first visit, officials will make additional attempts before completing verification.
Citizens have been urged to cooperate and ensure their voter details remain accurate ahead of future elections.
