More than 800 participants from across the globe gathered this evening at 630PM IST and attempted to break the existing record of Most people performing a choreographed dance online simultaneously. It was a phenomenal event and very humbling experience to watch this effort
800 Bharatanatyam dancers logged in through zoom platform and performed a song which was written in praise of “Tamil Annai” yesterday under the able guidance of Kalaimamani Madurai Muralidharan and paid their homage to the classics Tamil language. The proceeds of Rupees 10 Lakh from this historical event was donated to chief Minister Covid Relief fund. Madurai R Muralidharan already met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and handed over the demand draft before this event
