Orchids - The International School Bags Education Innovation Award 2022 in Robotics for Learning and Education

Orchids - The International School has won the award in Best Robotics (for Learning, Education) Solution in Education Innovation Award 2022 organised by Entrepreneur India, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, GOI The event was organised virtually on 17th January 2022 and brought together thought leaders of the Edtech vertical to create a positive impact on the sector.

While receiving the award Mr. Naresh Ramamurthy, Head – Academic Products, Orchids - The International School said, “We thank the organisers of Education Innovation Award 2022 for giving us the platform and also the jury for recognising our contribution towards the industry. We, at Orchids, believe that robotics as a segment has huge potential in today's world and the demand for this subject has gained momentum even before the pandemic hit us. Its inclusion in the curriculum helps in the development of student's cognitive skills. The amalgamation of technology with the traditional education system under the STEAM program is the need of the hour and necessity for future generations.”

Dr. Neeta Verma, Director General, National Informatics Centre MEITY, GoI was present at the occasion to address the delegates and shared her valuable insights to help the sector in changing dynamics of the post-COVID world. The industry experts present at the event also discussed the challenges and opportunities for the EdTech segment and shared their opinion on preparing students for the future with lifelong skills, equipping the teachers for the 21st century, the importance of career counseling, personalization of education to aid employability and focus on lifelong learning.
