ஆஸ்கர்-கிராமி நாயகன் இசைப்புயல் ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான், கிராமி விருது பெற்ற வயலின் கலைஞர் கணேஷ் ராஜகோபாலனால் கருத்தாக்கம் செய்யப்பட்ட 'த்ரிபின்னா' இந்திய சிம்பொனியை வெளியிட்டார்
இந்திய இசையை உலக அரங்கில் நிலைநிறுத்துவதில் முக்கியப் பங்காற்றிய ஆஸ்கர் மற்றும் கிராமி விருது வென்ற இசைப்புயல் ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான், கிராமி விருது பெற்ற வயலின் கலைஞர் கணேஷ் ராஜகோபாலனால் கருத்தாக்கம் செய்யப்பட்ட 'த்ரிபின்னா' என்ற இந்திய சிம்பொனி இசை ஆல்பத்தை டிசம்பர் 27 (சனிக்கிழமை) அன்று சென்னையில் உள்ள பிக்வயலின்ஷாப்பில் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான் ஆல்பத்தை வெளியிட்டதைத் தொடர்ந்து, ஸ்வரயோகா குழுவினருடன் இணைந்து அனிருத்தா பட் மிருதங்கம் வாசிக்க, 'த்ரிபின்னா' ஆல்பத்தில் உள்ள இசையமைப்புகளை கணேஷ் ராஜகோபாலன் நேரடியாக வாசித்துக் காட்டினார்.
இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் பிரபல கர்நாடக இசைக்கலைஞர்களான கிருஷ்ண குமார் மற்றும் பின்னி கிருஷ்ண குமார், வயலின் கலைஞர் குமரேஷ் மற்றும் வீணை கலைஞர் ஜெயந்தி குமரேஷ் உள்ளிட்ட இசை மற்றும் திரைப்படத் துறையைச் சேர்ந்த முக்கியப் பிரமுகர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.
'த்ரிபின்னா' ஆல்பம், ஸ்வரங்களை வரிசையாக மட்டும் இசைக்காமல், அவற்றை பிரித்து பின்னர் ஒன்றாக இணைக்கும் ஒரு பழங்கால கர்நாடக இசைக்கருத்திலிருந்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டது ஆகும். ஆரம்பகால கமகம் கருத்துகளில் வேரூன்றிய இந்த ஆல்பம், ஒரு ராகத்திற்குள் பல ஸ்வரங்களை ஒரே நேரத்தில் பயன்படுத்துவதை ஆராய்ந்து, இந்திய பாரம்பரிய சூழலில் விரிவான இசை அமைப்புகளை உருவாக்குகிறது. இந்த அணுகுமுறையின் மூலம், இந்த ஆல்பம் ராகத்தின் வெளிப்பாட்டு எல்லையை விரிவுபடுத்துவதோடு, பாரம்பரியமும் கற்பனையும் ஒரு பெரிய இசைக்களத்தில் இணையும் இந்திய சிம்பொனியை உருவாக்குகிறது.
கர்நாடக இசையின் வேர்களைப் பாதுகாப்பதில் கணேஷ் ராஜகோபாலனின் தொடர்ச்சியான அர்ப்பணிப்பை 'த்ரிபின்னா' ஆல்பம் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது. இந்த ஆல்பத்தில் கணேஷ் ராஜகோபாலனின் மாணவர்களான ஸ்வரயோகா குழுவினர், மேலும் புகழ்பெற்ற கலைஞர்களான பத்ரி சதீஷ் குமார், ஓஜஸ் ஆத்யா, திருச்சி கிருஷ்ணசாமி மற்றும் சுவாமிநாதன் செல்வ கணேஷ் ஆகியோர் பங்காற்றியுள்ளனர்.

Oscar and Grammy winner AR Rahman, who played a key role in placing Indian music on global map, launched Thribinna, an Indian symphony project conceptualised by Grammy awardee violin maestro Ganesh Rajagopalan, on December 27 (Saturday) at the Bigviolinshop, Chennai.
The evening started with AR Rahman launching the album, followed by a live performance of compositions from Thribinna by Ganesh Rajagopalan, featuring the Swarayoga Ensemble and Anirudha Bhat on the Mridangam.
In addition to legendary composer AR Rahman, distinguished guests from the music and film fraternity including popular classical musicians Krishna Kumar and Binny Krishna Kumar, violin maestro Kumaresh and veena virtuoso Jayanthi Kumaresh attended the event.
Thribinna is inspired by an ancient idea in Carnatic music where swaras were divided and experienced together, rather than only one after another. Rooted in early ghamaka concepts, Thribinna explores the simultaneous use of multiple notes from the same raga to create harmony in an Indian musical context.
This album expands the expressive scope of the raga, using it as a tool to build richer textures and larger musical forms. Thribinna reflects a vision of an Indian Symphony—where tradition and imagination come together to create music on a broader canvas.
Thribinna reflects Ganesh Rajagopalan’s continued commitment to keeping the roots of Carnatic music. The album features the Swarayoga Ensemble- students of Ganesh Rajagopalan, with eminent artistes Pathri Satish Kumar, Ojas Adhya, Trichy Krishna Swamy, and Swaminathan Selva Ganesh.
