SRM IST Student Shameena Riaz Wins Gold in Tamil Nadu State Closed Squash Championships 2026
Ms. Shameena Riaz, a II Year B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) student of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST), Vadapalani Campus, won the Gold Medal in the Women's Category at the Tamil Nadu State Closed Squash Championships 2026, held in Chennai from 23rd to 25th July 2026. The championship featured around 160 players across various categories, with eight competitors in the Women's Category. Shameena showcased outstanding skill and determination to secure the championship title.
