‘People called Sridevi a homewrecker,’ Janhvi Kapoor says the world wasn’t ‘very kind’ to her late mother when she was around

Janhvi Kapoor opened up about carry the trauma of suddenly losing her mother Sridevi, admitting that she still can’t get over the pain of losing her.

When Sridevi passed away in 2018, her daughter Janhvi Kapoor was only 20 years old, and months away from making her debut in Bollywood. While the incident happened a few years ago, Janhvi, in a recent interview, shared that she continues to carry the trauma of losing her mother.

In a chat with Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel, Janhvi said, “I try to escape my mind, my inner turmoil. The feelings that I haven’t dealt with, the trauma that I haven’t dealt with. The biggest trauma was losing my mom, especially the way I did, in front of the whole world and dealing with that journey.”
