OruCupOxygen Brings “Oru Cup Focus” to TTK Foundation; Counsellors Experience Transformative Focus Training
Building on the momentum of its immersive “Oru Cup Focus” launch, OruCupOxygen, a first-of-its-kind mental wellness platform centred on focus, sleep, and awareness, recently conducted a specialised, cohort-based session in collaboration with TTK Foundation, Chennai.
Designed as a structured intervention for counsellors and interns engaged in digital de-addiction and adolescent mental health, the session marked a significant step in extending OruCupOxygen’s experiential framework into institutional and training environments.
Positioned distinctly from a conventional seminar, workshop, or wellness talk, the session was designed as a quiet, individual, and deeply immersive experience, encouraging participants to slow down, observe, and, in the process, develop a clearer understanding of their own focus.”
The session began with a focused orientation, followed by a multi-sensory assessment across five immersive environments, and concluded with an evaluation designed to help participants better understand their own attention patterns and sensory strengths.
The workshop saw an overwhelmingly positive response from participating counsellors, many of whom described the experience as both eye-opening and deeply relevant in today’s fast-paced, distraction-heavy world.
Several participants noted that while they had always considered themselves attentive, the session revealed clear variations in how each of their five senses functioned under focus-driven conditions. For some, it was a moment of discovery , identifying unexpectedly strong sensory responses , while for others, it highlighted areas that required conscious improvement.
“In today’s constantly distracted environment, this experience felt necessary. It made us realise how differently each of our senses contributes to focus,” shared one participant.“We often assume we are fully attentive, but this workshop helped break that assumption. It was insightful to understand where we are truly sharp and where we need work,” added another.
Many counsellors also reflected on the practical applicability of the format, emphasising its potential as a tool not just for self-awareness, but also for wider use across age groups and professions , from students and young adults to working professionals navigating high cognitive load and burnout.
The session stood out for its non-traditional, experiential approach, something participants said they did not anticipate. What began as a structured workshop evolved into a highly engaging and reflective experience, leaving many describing it as a meaningful and energising start to their day. This development reinforces OruCupOxygen’s broader vision of positioning focus not just as an individual pursuit, but as a trainable, measurable skill that can be nurtured through structured environments. By adapting its immersive format into guided modules, the platform is steadily evolving into a scalable tool for mental wellness training across institutions, corporates, and educational ecosystems.
At a time when digital fatigue, reduced attention spans, and mental burnout are becoming increasingly prevalent, such interventions offer a timely shift from passive awareness to active engagement with mental fitness.
Following the success of this session, OruCupOxygen is now rolling out similar integrations with employees of organisations and institutions as part of their engagement and wellness programs, further strengthening its role as a holistic, focus-led wellness framework.
