Rajinikanth Denies Jealousy, Praises Vijay’s Rise

Actor Rajinikanth has strongly denied rumours that he is jealous of C. Joseph Vijay’s growing political success. Speaking to reporters outside his Poes Garden residence, he said that such claims are completely false and have no basis.

Rajinikanth said he feels happy and “exhilarated” seeing someone from the film industry entering politics and rising to a top position like Chief Minister. He added that it is a proud moment when film personalities move into public service and take on major political responsibilities.

He also praised Vijay’s achievements, saying that at a young age, he has done what many senior leaders like M.G. Ramachandran (MGR) and N.T. Rama Rao (NTR) had achieved in their early political careers. According to Rajinikanth, this shows Vijay’s strong public support and leadership qualities.

Rejecting all speculation, Rajinikanth clearly stated that he is not active in politics anymore and had already decided to stay away from it. He said there is no reason for him to feel envy or competition toward Vijay or any other political leader.

“I am not in politics. I have already confirmed my decision to stay away. Why would I envy Vijay?” he said, putting an end to the rumours.

His comments come amid growing political discussions around Vijay’s entry into active politics and his increasing influence in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. Rajinikanth’s clarification is seen as an attempt to stop unnecessary speculation and focus attention on real political developments
