SRMIST Athlete Nithish S Creates State Meet Record in Para Shot Put
Our SRMIST shot put athlete, Nithish S, won the Gold Medal in the Shot-Put event at the 21st TamilNadu Senior State Para Athletics Championship with a record throw of 11.30 meters, setting a new State Meet Record. The championship was held at Thanjavur from 3rd to 5th February 2026 and was organized by the Tamil Nadu Paralympics Sports Association.
