SRMIST will host SPORTINTEL 2026, the 3rd International Conference on Advanced Sports Science and Intelligence Performance Technologies (IC-ASSIPT 2026)

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, will host SPORTINTEL 2026, the 3rd International Conference on Advanced Sports Science and Intelligence Performance Technologies (IC-ASSIPT 2026), on 27th March 2026 at 9:30 a.m. Organized by the Directorate of Sports in association with the Department of Computer Application & Computer Science, the conference aims to serve as a global platform for advancing research and innovation in sports science and performance technologies. The inaugural function will be presided over by Dr. S. Ponnusamy, Registrar, SRMIST, while Thiru. J. Meghanatha Reddy, IAS, Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, will inaugurate the conference. The event will be held at the Padma Bhushan Major Dhyan Chand Indoor Stadium, SRMIST, Kattankulathur. The conference will witness the participation of around 400 participants and feature the presentation of over 150 research papers. A distinguished panel of speakers, including 3 international speakers and 7 eminent Indian speakers, will share their experience and knowledge, offering valuable insights into the latest advancements in sports science, technology, and performance analytics. The event will bring together academicians, researchers, sports professionals, and industry experts to exchange ideas and explore innovative solutions shaping the future of athletic excellence. The programme will include a welcome address by Prof. R. Mohana Krishnan, Director of Sports, SRMIST, followed by the presidential address by Dr. S. Ponnusamy and the inaugural address by Thiru. J. Meghanatha Reddy, IAS. The conference will also feature the release of proceedings and conclude with a vote of thanks by Dr. Albert Antony Raj, Deputy Dean, FSH, SRMIST. Through SPORTINTEL 2026, SRMIST aims to foster a collaborative and knowledge-driven ecosystem in sports science and technology. The conference reflects a collective commitment to innovation, excellence, and marching towards the vision for the 2036 Olympics, by empowering athletes and researchers with cutting-edge scientific and technological advancements.
