1990-களுக்கு முன் தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்டம், பட்டுக்கோட்டை தாலுகாவில் 50 வருட காலமாக கொத்தடிமையாக இருந்த ஒருவன் தன்னந்தனியாக போராடி தன் வம்சத்தை கல்விக்கு திருப்பிய உண்மைக்கதையையும், சமகாலத்தில் சோசியல் மீடியா, கல்வி மற்றும் அரசியலில் நேரடியாகவும் மறைமுகமாகவும் செய்யும் மாற்றங்கள் மக்களை எப்படி பாதிக்கிறது என்பதையும் மிக சுவாரஸ்யமாக சொல்லும் திரைப்படம் இது. அத்துடன் சேர்ந்து தஞ்சையின் பண்பாடு, மக்கள் மற்றும் கலாச்சாரம் ஆகியவற்றை யாரும் சொல்லாத வகையிலும், நெற்களஞ்சிய மக்கள் பெருமிதம் கொள்ளும் வகையிலும் சொல்லியிருப்பதாகவும் கூறுகிறார்.
இத்திரைப்படம் அனைத்து வயதினருக்கும் பிடிக்கும் வகையில் விறுவிறுப்பாக திரைக்கதை செய்யப்பட்டு படமாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது என படக்குழுவினர் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.
மேலும் இத்திரைப்படம் இரண்டு நேர்-எதிர் காலங்களில் நடப்பதாலும், நிறைய நடிகர்கள் உருவமாற்றம் செய்ய வேண்டி இருந்ததாலும் இரண்டரை வருடங்கள் படப்பிடிப்பு செய்யப்பட்டிருப்பதாகவும் படக்குழுவினர் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர். இத்திரைப்படம் 2025 அக்டோபர் மாதம் தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியிடப்பட இருப்பதை படக்குழு உறுதி செய்துள்ளது.

Produced by Arivazhagan Murugesan under the banner of Gandhimathi Pictures the film stars Mahesh of Angadi Theru fame!
Guna Babu, who played the second lead in the recently released film Thirukkural. K.M. Parivall, Thiruvarur Ganesh, Mahathir Mohammed play pivotal roles in the proceedings.
Along with them, Nagaraj, Delta Saravanan, Ambal Sathish, M.K. Radhakrishnan, Velmurugan, Kathu Karuppu Kalai, Pakiyam Gautami, Subha, and Suriya Prathapan have also acted in the film.
Thangapandian and Chota Manikandan have handled the cinematography. Arivazhagan lyrics are written by Sai Sundar and the film's music has been composed by Sai Sundar.

This is a very interesting film that tells the true story of a man who was a bonded labourer for 50 years in Pattukottai taluka of Thanjavur district before the 1990s and how he fought alone to get a generation educated, and how the contemporary social media has impacted the present generation, directly and indirectly, including politics is the crux of the plot. Also, he has also deliberated on the culture and history of the people of Thanjavur in a manner that no one else has told, and in a way that the people of the rice field will be proud of.
The film team says that the film has been scripted and shot in a lively way that will appeal to people of all ages.
The film team also says that since the film takes place in two different contrasting periodsand hence many actors had to change their appearance and hence it was shot for two and a half years. The film team has confirmed that the film will be released in theaters across Tamil Nadu in October 2025
