Cosmo Films rewards its outstanding achievers through Chairman’s Award
Cosmo Films, a global leader in speciality films for packaging, lamination and labelling applications as well as synthetic paper, recently rewarded its outstanding achievers with the highly coveted Chairman’s Awards in a glitzy award night organized at the company’s plant in Shendra, Aurangabad on 15th January 2020.
Chairman’s Award for Excellence- in the third year of its inception; aims to recognize & reward its high performers for their exemplary performance in their designated functional areas and at the same time create a winning, high performance driven culture in the company at large. This year’s awards were given to two employees from diverse functions in individual categories and a team award was given to a team of five employees for their outstanding contribution.
Individual award comprised of a trophy and a cheque of Rs.1 lac, whereas team award had a prize of Rs. 2 lacs. There was also a Best Manufacturing Site award given to Cosmo Films plant in Waluj, Aurangabad. New Joinee awards were given to 4 newly joined employees for their achievements at various locations. A special recognition award was given to Mr. Mahesh Borude from Cosmo Foundation.
The awards presentation ceremony was part of quite an elaborate awards night, attended by 250 employees along with their family members and the company’s leadership team. The event was topped with several cultural performances, which were highly appreciated by everyone.
Gracing the occasion, Mr. Ashok Jaipuria, Chairman and MD, Cosmo Films Ltd, said “Employees of Cosmo Films are competent for their work and also committed for their deliverables. He also elaborated on the remarkable work done by Cosmo Foundation in the areas like educating children in villages, health, hygiene, cleanliness- which is also a part of our national agenda of ‘Swachhta’, and tree plantations in Karjan’s municipality area. On innovations, Mr. Jaipuria spoke about the recently introduced ‘Cosmo Incubation Centre’
