We are pleased to inform you that the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Southern Region is organizing the EV Summit with the theme “Indigenization of EV Supply Chain in India” on 24 June 2022 at Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Chennai.

Government of India’s prestigious “Make in India” program concept is now the cornerstone of the EV policy. Hence it is necessary to understand what needs to be done to best leverage our potential to harness the huge opportunities in the EV sector. This Summit aims to help stakeholders understand how to effectively synergise our strengths and capabilities for a prospective growth in vehicle manufacturing segment to achieve indigenization in the EV sector.

Mr Rajesh Kumar Pathak IP & TAFS, Secretary, Technology Development Board, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and Mr Hans Raj Verma IAS, Chairman & Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Ltd, Government of Tamil Nadu will deliver the Inaugural and Special Address respectively at the Inaugural Session.
