Eugenix Hair Sciences’ Gurugram Clinic Earns NABH Accreditation, Reinforcing Commitment to Quality and Patient Safety

Eugenix Hair Sciences has announced that its flagship Gurugram facility has been awarded accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH), marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical quality.

NABH accreditation is granted after a rigorous multi-parameter evaluation covering patient identification protocols, clinical communication systems, medication safety, infection control practices, and standardised surgical safety procedures. With this recognition, the Gurugram clinic aligns with the International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG) framework. NABH evaluates healthcare institutions on over 600 standards, including medication management, safety protocols, and staff training.

The Gurugram facility serves as Eugenix’s primary hub for clinical excellence, research, and professional training. Built to international standards, the centre features advanced surgical infrastructure, including Mantis Microscopes and high-magnification loupes imported from the United States and Germany, and is supported by a multidisciplinary team of dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and senior physicians trained personally by the founders.

“The NABH accreditation reflects our commitment to building a culture of clinical excellence and patient safety. At Eugenix, we combine scientific precision with artistry to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for every patient,” said Dr. Pradeep Sethi, Chairman & Co-Founder, Eugenix Hair Sciences.

“Our facility has been envisioned as a global centre of excellence in hair restoration. This accreditation validates the systems, processes, and patient-first approach that define our practice,” added Dr. Arika Bansal, Co-Founder, Eugenix Hair Sciences.

The clinic offers a comprehensive range of hair restoration solutions, including male and female hair transplants, corrective and repair procedures, hairline reconstruction, and beard and eyebrow transplants for advanced baldness cases. Over the years, Eugenix’s network—spanning Gurugram, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—has become a global destination, with patients from over 90 countries seeking treatment.

Founded in 2008 by Dr. Pradeep Sethi and Dr. Arika Bansal, Eugenix Hair Sciences is the originating institution of the Direct Hair Transplantation (DHT) technique, a modified follicular unit extraction method documented in a peer-reviewed publication in the Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery. The technique has since been adopted by hair restoration practitioners across multiple countries and is widely regarded as a leading standard in advanced hair restoration.

Dr. Sethi, an AIIMS-trained dermatologist and Fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS), has contributed extensively to medical education and research, including establishing India’s first formal Fellowship in Hair Transplantation in association with IADVL.

Dr. Bansal, also an AIIMS-trained dermatologist and Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), specialises in male and female hair transplantation, corrective procedures, and complex high-grade baldness cases.

Across its network, Eugenix has performed over 20,000 surgical procedures, implanted more than 55 million grafts, and treated approximately 1,800 Grade 6/7 baldness cases, while serving a growing global patient base.
