This podcast intends to understand the humans behind the givers. What moves them and motivates them. Philanthropy today is not merely providing funding; instead, we are striving to underwrite a more resilient future. Give it a Go serves as a platform to move past the notion of transactional giving and delve into the inspiration and personal journeys of recognized industry figures who have committed to creating impactful change. We hope to spotlight examples and encourage others to join in the catalytic journey of philanthropy.”
Anas Rahman Junaid, Founder and Chief Researcher, Hurun India, emphasized the strategic importance of the collaboration, and said “EdelGive and Hurun India have been working together on the Philanthropy List for nearly a decade, gaining a deep understanding of India’s giving landscape. Give It A Go blends seamlessly with Hurun India’s founding principle of promoting responsible wealth creation, offering a platform to celebrate the journeys of our country’s most consistent philanthropic contributors. Over the years, we have seen the impact of the EdelGive–Hurun India Philanthropy List in inspiring individuals and organizations to give. With Give It A Go, we aim to humanize these stories — showing that generosity knows no barriers of age, timing, or experience — and encourage a new wave of philanthropists for years to come.”
The aim of "Give it a Go" is to serve as an example for individuals across the country, providing diverse perspectives and structures of philanthropy. By highlighting the significance of a variety of shapes and forms of giving, each episode of the podcast aims to encourage broader participation in the social sector and inspire a greater number of people to explore the idea of giving back in any way they can.
