Majid Khademi, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ intelligence organisation, has been killed in a US-Israeli strike in Tehran, according to statements cited by the Israel Defense Forces.
The conflict between Israel, the United States, and Iran has taken another decisive turn. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that Maj Gen Majid Khademi, head of the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed in an overnight airstrike in Tehran. The strike, carried out with what the IDF described as precise intelligence inputs, targeted Khademi at a time when he was actively overseeing intelligence operations linked to the ongoing war.
Iranian state-linked outlets, including Fars News Agency, also acknowledged his death — indicating the significance of the loss within Iran’s military hierarchy. Khademi was not a peripheral figure. Within the IRGC, he occupied one of the most sensitive and influential positions, responsible for shaping intelligence assessments for senior leadership.
