The North-East United Forum Bengaluru (NEUFB) is proud to announce that the North-East Fusion Carnival 2025 was a grand success, marking a vibrant celebration of unity, culture, and diversityThe event was held on Sunday, 9th November 2025, at St. Joseph’s University Auditorium, Shantinagar, Bengaluru, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
This mega cultural extravaganza successfully brought together communities, artists, entrepreneurs, achievers, and well-wishers under one platform to:
• Promote cultural exchange and unity among the Northeastern states and other communities in Karnataka.
• Showcase the rich traditional and contemporary art forms of the Northeast through dance, music, and exhibitions.
• Encourage entrepreneurship and business networking through exhibition and product stalls.
• Strengthen the bridge of friendship and understanding between the Northeast and the rest of India.
Highlights of the Carnival:
• Traditional and fusion dance performances representing all eight Northeastern states.
• Authentic Northeast food stalls offering regional cuisines.
• Exhibition and entrepreneurship stalls featuring local crafts and innovations.
• Felicitation of achievers and cultural ambassadors.
• Live musical performances, interactive sessions, and cultural networking.
The Carnival featured two Podcast Sessions before lunch:
• The first session was graced by Shri Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, Head of the Royal
House of Tripura & Chairman – TIPRA Motha, as the Functional President, and Shri James P.K.
Sangma, Chairman – MIDC & National President – NPP, as Guest of Honour.
• The second session featured Shri Mmhonlümo Kikon, Former MLA, Poet & Social Worker
from Nagaland, and Shri Daniel Langthasa, Former Member of Autonomous Council, Dima
Hasao, and Founder & People’s Party Convenor.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Shri Conrad K. Sangma, shared a heartfelt video message,extending his support and appreciation as he could not attend in person.
Distinguished guests in attendance included:

• Smt. Nandini Das, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax, Bengaluru

The event witnessed one of the largest gatherings of the North-East community in Bengaluru, filled with joy, camaraderie, and cultural pride. The success of this carnival stands as a testament to the unity and spirit of the people of Northeast India living across the country.
