TSSPDCL inaugurates 100 kW Solar plant at Sangareddy Circle Office
Freyr Energy is working with TSSPDCL to solarize their offices across Telangana
Hyderabad: TSSPDCL has taken a lead in the adoption, promotion and integration of rooftop solar across their offices.On Saturday, July 13th, Shri G. Raghuma Reddy, CMD, and Board of Directors, TSSPDCL inaugurated 100-kW solar plant at Sangareddy Circle Office, Telangana.Other TSSPDCL buildings across Vikarabad, Siddipet and Sangareddyare being solarised by Freyr Energy Services, a Hyderabad based Solar PV installer. The entire project capacity is 590 kW.
These solar rooftop projects together are expected to reduce 393 tons of greenhouse emissions yearly and equivalent of planting 8,500 trees annually, leading to annual savings of approximately Rs. 62 lakhs in their electricity bills.Commenting on the project Mr. Saurabh Marda, Co-Founder Freyr Energy Services said, “it is greatly encouraging to see apowerdistribution company take the lead in recognizing the importance and benefits of solar energy.”
