PSB Xchange Onboards Punjab National Bank to Strengthen India’s Digital Supply Chain Finance Ecosystem
PSB Alliance Pvt. Ltd. and Punjab National Bank (PNB) have signed an agreement for onboarding Punjab National Bank as a lending partner on the PSB Xchange platform, India’s unified digital working capital finance platform.
Punjab National Bank, the third-largest Public Sector Bank in India by overall business and one of the country’s leading banks in Supply Chain Finance, will leverage the PSB Xchange platform to offer digital supply chain finance solutions to eligible borrowers associated with participating anchor corporates. The collaboration will enable seamless digital onboarding, credit assessment and financing through a standardised process, helping PNB further strengthen its digital supply chain finance capabilities while accelerating access to institutional working capital for dealers, distributors and MSMEs.
Expanding One of India’s Largest Digital Supply Chain Finance Networks
PSB Xchange connects lenders, corporates and ecosystem partners through a unified technology platform. The onboarding of Punjab National Bank significantly strengthens the platform’s lender ecosystem by adding one of the country’s largest Public Sector Banks with a well-established Supply Chain Finance portfolio.
The collaboration will further enhance the availability of institutional finance across dealer and distribution ecosystems while enabling corporates to benefit from a larger network of lending partners. The shared digital infrastructure reduces the need for multiple point-to-point integrations and facilitates faster programme implementation, portfolio monitoring and operational efficiency.
Enabling Faster Working Capital Access for Businesses
By digitising onboarding, documentation and programme execution, PSB Xchange enables lenders and corporates to implement supply chain finance programmes more efficiently while extending formal institutional credit to a broader base of MSMEs.
The addition of Punjab National Bank reinforces the platform’s vision of creating a collaborative digital ecosystem that simplifies supply chain financing and supports the growing working capital needs of businesses across India.
